From The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review by George Guido, January 7, 2013

Frazer Township will soon have its new police car in service.

Officials on Monday said the 2013 Dodge Charger is getting lettering, emergency roof bars and other add-ons finished.

The vehicle was bought from Tri-Star Motors at the South Hills Council of Governments’ bid price of a little more than $24,000.

Wednesday was the first day of a three-year contract for the police force.

Chief Terry Kuhns’ salary was bumped up $5,000, to $55,000 per year, under the new agreement between the Township and the Frazer Police Association. Kuhns will receive a 2 percent increase in each of the final two years of the pact.

Cpl. Brian Pezak was advanced to $19 per hour, with 2 percent annual increases for the next two years.

Supervisors on Monday increased the starting wage for part-time police officers by $1.67, to $13 per hour.
